What You’ll Learn

In these sessions, you’ll focus on skills that are relevant, practical, and easy to apply:

  • Awareness & de-escalation: spotting risks and keeping yourself safe before a situation escalates

  • Boundary-setting & self-advocacy: communicating your limits confidently

  • Physical techniques: simple strikes, escapes, and floor work you can practise safely

  • Scenario drills: putting everything together in realistic, controlled and safe scenarios

Each session is tailored to your level, no previous experience is needed, and everyone progresses at a pace that feels comfortable.

How Classes Work

Every class follows a structured, supportive flow:

  1. Warm-up & technique practice: specific movements to get ready and practise key skills

  2. Group discussion: we explore scenarios, talk through choices, and build awareness

  3. Paired practice: try techniques safely with a partner

  4. Live scenario drills: bring all the skills together in realistic, guided exercises

All classes are beginner-friendly, inclusive, and run in a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of learning.
